One of the greatest Verdi interpreters of his generation, Paolo Gavanelli is a regular guest of prestigious theaters such as: La Scala in Milan, the Metropolitan in New York , the Staatsoper in Vienna, the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden in London, the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Arena di Verona, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Carlo Felice in Genoa, San Carlo in Naples, Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, Teatro Regio in Turin, Opéra Bastille in Paris, Lyric Opera in Chicago, San Francisco Opera, Los Angeles Opera, Deutsche Oper and Staatsoper in Berlin, Staatsoper in Hamburg, Teatro Real in Madrid, Liceu in Barcelona.

Among his recent and future engagements, it is worth mentioning: Otello in Cagliari , Roberto Devereux at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Nabucco in Montreal, Rigoletto, La Gioconda, La favorite, Lucrezia Borgia and I Due Foscari in St. Gallen; La Traviata and Rigoletto at the Florence Opera - Maggio Musicale under Zubin Mehta.

Young up-and-coming Italian mezzo, Raffaella Lupinacci is a prizewinner of the 2013 AsLiCo Competition. Ms. Lupinacci made her operatic debut in 2011 as Tisbe in Rossini’s Cenerentola, and then as Giovanna and Paggio in Verdi’s Rigoletto at Teatro “A. Rendano” in Cosenza. She attended the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro in 2012, making her debut as Marchesa Melibea in Rossini’s Il Viaggio a Reims. She was reinvited in Pesaro in 2013 for L’Italiana in Algeri. More recently she sang: Mary in Der Fliegende Hollaender for the AsLiCo Opera Domani project, which toured many theaters in Northern Italy; Maometto II (Calbo) on tour in Switzerland; Rossini’s Otello and a Verdi Gala in Antwerp; Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle in Saint-Etienne under Alberto Zedda. She recently made her debut in the Circuito Lirico Lombardo singing in Rossini’s Tancredi (Tancredi and Isaura) and in Verdi’s Otello (Emilia). Raffaella Lupinacci debuted as Dorabella in Così fan Tutte in Vicenza and starred in Aureliano in Palmira at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro. Ms. Lupinacci recently made her debut as Curra in La Forza del Destino at the Teatro Regio in Parma.
